課程概述 |
This is a freakonomics style course, aka, applied microeconomics. |
|
課程目標 |
Our purpose is to see how to use economics to understand the real world, ie: how people react to incentives. We focus on how to use OLS, Randomize Trial, Instrumental Variables, Difference-in-Difference, Regression Discontinuity, to estimate the causal effect. Examples in Education, Health, Labor, Crime, Family, Development, and Political Economics will be discussed. |
